It’s the final week of the autumn Step Count Challenge!

There’s one week left of the autumn Step Count Challenge, so one more week to get out and about, motivate your team mates and go for lunchtime walks, all whilst counting your steps.

Looking to add some last minute steps to your final Step Count? There are many ways of being more active during the working day, including taking the stairs instead of using the lift, going for a lunchtime walk, and organising a walking meeting. Check out this blog post on how to escape the desk if you’re in need of some last minute ideas.

Autumn photo competition

Congratulations to Sarah Cunningham who won our Autumn photo competition. Sarah has won a GoPro HERO Session action camera, to record their outdoor walking adventures on.

Congratulations also go to our two runners up, Sophie Laidlaw and Margaret Sinclair, who win a Klean Kanteen water bottle, Step Count Challenge bag and notebook each.

Who’s your champion?

This week, your challenge is to nominate someone you know to be our next Step Count Champion. This could be someone in your team, or someone you know from another team, who has motivated and inspired you throughout the last few weeks. Whether they’ve been great at motivating everybody else, have made changes to their own lifestyle or have really embraced walking more, we want to hear your stories about who you think should be our Step Count Champion.
