Asked why she decided to take part in the Step Count Challenge, Rachel said “Mark, Lynn and I have done quite a few challenges – gets you moving! It is great banter! This is my first challenge since donating my kidney and I want to prove it hasn’t reduced my ability to get out there!!!”

Our two runners up are Tracey Harrison and Linda Gray, who both win a Step Count Challenge water bottle and canvas bag each.

Where’s your favourite spring stroll?
This week’s challenge is to share with us your favourite places to go for a walk in spring. Whether it’s just a short stroll through your neighbourhood to the shops, an epic hike up a hill or a leisurely woodland stroll, let us know where you most enjoy going for a walk. The winning entry will win a copy of the book “Wild Guide Scotland: HIdden Places, Great Adventures and the Good Life” and two runners up will win a Step Count Challenge water bottle and canvas bag each.

We’ll share some of our favourite entries on our Twitter page and our Instagram page through this week.
