Meet the Walkers: Barbara

It’s great to hear your stories about taking part in the challenge. Barbara won a runner up prize in our autumn Step Count Champion competition, and we asked her if she’d like to share her experiences with us.

“I am quite lazy person by nature, but since doing my first step challenge back in 2016, I have continued doing small walks. I continued going out for walks at work on my morning, lunch & afternoon breaks, and usually go out on a Saturday and Sunday morning for an hour. When doing the Step Count Challenge you up your game slightly and get extra walks. I definitely feel the benefit and a pedometer is amazing, I don’t have any fancy watches or phones for recording steps, a pedometer is all you need and it encourages you to get more steps in.”
